Another Lucasfilm Shoot

Today R2 and I were fortunate enough to be involved in another video shoot for Lucasfilm. Again, I can't say anything regarding what the shoot was about, and I can't post pictures that give away any info, but once the video goes public I'll have more to share.

Call time was 12:00 noon at Hollywood Center Studios, in Hollywood, CA. Traffic was horrible as usual, but after the one-hour forty-five minute commute of 45 miles, I arrived a half hour early.

The main action was happening on Stage 7, but R2 was needed on Stage 2.

The neat thing about Stage 2 is, it is where the TV show "I Love Lucy" got its start. There were large pictures on the walls of the show being produced there.

Our sound technician attached a wireless mic inside of R2.

Shortly thereafter, R2 did his bit with an actor. I'll cover that in more detail in the future.

At a break in the shooting, folks stopped by to take pictures with R2 on the soundstage.

At the lunch break, R2 grabbed a fork and plate and lined up for lunch. Unfortunately, they didn't serve motor oil.

The cast and crew joined us for lunch.

After lunch we made our way back to Stage 7. Oops, better wait a few minutes...

The cast and crew on Stage 7 took an opportunity to get pictures with R2, before we headed home. I'll post more of those later too.

I was lucky enough today to add an additional autograph to R2's back door. Whose was it? Stay tuned...

Once again, I am in awe of your great luck! Kudos to you! You rub shoulders with the rich and famous...and the kids! (Robin Leach voice not included)
