It's time to get all the parts ready for final painting, and that means looking for defects that need fixing.
I found a small dimple at the top of one of the foot shells.
Another dent is along the edge of one of the foot shell doors. The hole on the right is for mounting the half moon.
On goes the Evercoat.
Off goes the Evercoat, thanks to some light sanding with 400 grit sand paper.
The other day I mentioned that the rear face of one of the battery boxes needed some further sanding, so I took care of that as well.
I wonder if the Smithsonian will ask for the washing machine when I'm done with droid building?
