Trimmed Center Leg Channel, Glued Up Center Leg

Although the center leg had already had the channel widened the day the layers were cut, I decided to widen the channel just a little more, to make it even easier to load the gas pipes for the manual droid lift from above.




After a little light sanding, it was time to glue up the center leg. I applied wood glue and spread it around each layer, using the dowels to align the layers.



I clamped the four layers together and wiped away excess glue.



I may take a left turn and work on something else in the middle of all the work on the legs.
