Target/Lucasfilm Episode VII Launch Event at LA Live - Day 2

Today R2 returned to LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, CA, along with members of the Rebel Legion and 501st to help Target and Lucasfilm promote The Force Awakens. Rain was expected toward the end of the day, so tents were wisely put up.



Some backstage pics before we went to our stations.



I took a panorama picture of the crowd waiting for the 10:0am stampede.

The organizers quickly realized they needed stanchions and line control. That's better.




Looks like R2 needs to be at his official photo op location at 1:00pm. He was right on time, and there was a long line for pics.





Once R2's time the official photo op station ended, we mingled and had R2 pose for more pictures for the rest of the day.

It was a great weekend, but I'm really looking forward to tomorrow...
