Target/Lucasfilm Episode VII Launch Event at LA Live - Day 1

Today R2 joined members of the 501st and Rebel Legion to help Target and Lucasfilm promote The Force Awakens at LA Live, in downtown Los Angeles.



There were all sort of activities and photo opportunities for attendees. Four large domes were constructed, holding such attractions as The Force Trainer (guiding a BB-8 toy with your brainwaves), Steve Sansweet's Rancho Obiwan experience, an interactive Lego station, and a Star Wars Galaxy projection/sound experience.






We were able to get ready "backstage" with the employees that were suiting up in Ep. VII pilot jumpsuits.



At 10:00am, the event opened up, and we were mobbed for pictures and people lined up to partake in the activities.









Toward the end of the day, Bullseye the Target dog made an appearance with the characters.





Everyone enjoyed the event very much, and I'll be back again tomorrow for more fun.
