Yesterday I had applied one coat for the purpose of determining where to apply Evercoat. Some wood grain still showed, which is not unusual with only one coat of primer.
Today I applied two more heavy coats of primer. The grain is disappearing, and hopefully it will be gone with a light sanding, once the primer dries for a while.
