Unmasked Battery Harnesses, Added LED to front HP

Today I removed the masking tape from the battery harnesses. The paint job turned out okay.

In the evening, I decided to add an LED to the front holoprojector wiring.

The photo below was taken without the flash, so the color doesn't appear as white as it really is.

I hate to do it, but the dome wiring is such a mess, I think I'm going to have to redo it again. I need to come up with a clean way of running pairs of wires to each part of the the dome that gets lit. And in the case of my top front logics, I'm running three wires, to toggle the message display. Ugh.

On your Holos, The area that sits against the dome. Is it flat or curved to the dome?

Calvin,

I assume you are asking about the inside of the dome here (let me know if not).

The cowlings are slightly curved, and have a tight fit against the inside of the dome.

Let me know if I didn't answer the question you are asking, or if you'd like a picture.

Yeah, Thats what I needed to know.
Was there any reason you decided not to have any panels on your dome move. I'm at a point that:
I'm not sure if I'll have the side panels open or not. I'll have the pies open. I'm not sure if the sides are worth the effort. I've allready cut the openings, But I may forget this idea.

Calvin,

No real reason why the dome panels don't open. I just decided not to get in over my head on my first droid. :) Also, I like having the dome wiring independent of the body.

On your front PSI,
Did you have to cut the dome ring for the PVC fitting to clear the ring?
I had to cut mine and was wondering if this is normal.

Calvin,

Yes, I did make this cut, along with a couple others for the front HP and front logics. This is normal.
