Tea Party Tuesday with Ashley Eckstein

Back in May, I mentioned R2 had a very important date. Today, Ashley Eckstein and Her Universe posted the video of the interview we did that day, about the R2 Builders Club.

Ashley's office has an amazing Alice in Wonderland theme, with the painted walls and all sorts of fun stuff on her table, which actually functions as her work desk.



As an added bonus, I got to take home the cake! By coincidence, it's one of my favorites, from the Southern California chain Gelsons. They have a great bakery.



It's always fun talking about the club, and I'm grateful that I had a chance to share some of my experiences.

Regal Con 2017

Today R2 and I stopped by Regal Con for a few hours. This small convention was held at the Irvine Marriott hotel. Since I live in Irvine, it was a quick and convenient drive.

The various Star Wars clubs were represented.



There were some nice backdrops for photo ops as well.



Along with the backdrops, Shawn Mullen brought his amazingly detailed model collection.




R2 got reacquainted with Princess Leia.



And naturally, R2 also posed for pictures.



It had been a while since R2's last event, so it was good to get him out again.
