Star Wars Day at the Corona Public Library 2015

Today was Star Wars Day at the Corona Public Library, in Corona, CA.



First I had to work my way through and around an 8-mile backup on the freeway on the way to the event



Once I arrived, I unloaded R2, and he helped to entertain the guests.

R2LA XII

Today was R2LA XII, and my 10th R2LA event. Lots of droids and builders were in attendance.



By invite only. Keep out. That means you.



Before the event started, Mike Senna transplanted the Sphero BB-8's innards into a transparent craft ornament.



Builders arrived and started setting up their droids and wares to display.







Norm Chan with tested.com came out to do some taping and interviews. My droid and I were featured for a brief shot, we'll see if I made the cut. Michael McMaster served as co-host.



It was a great time as always, and I look forward to the next one.

Pre R2LA XII Dinner

Tonight several club members gathered for the annual Pre-R2LA dinner at Lamppost Pizza in Yorba Linda, CA.

Lots of people arrived from all over to catch up and have a good time.
