I ran a bead of silicone around the inside perimeter of the framed piece for each of the panels.
Next, I used my famous clips to attach the frame to its corresponding solid piece.
I used a toothpick and a paper towel to clean off the excess silicone that squeezed through the seam on the front side.
I completed all the framed panels for the front skins, there are still a couple of panels on the rear skins that I didn't get to tonight.

Now that's interesting...I would have thought you would paint them first, then silicone them together? (Do avoid paint beading, etc?)
The rationale is that the panels will adhere better with bare metal than gluing painted pieces together. Am I right? Who knows?

How did you center the panels to the frame pieces when gluing them?
The frame overlaps the main panel by at least 1/16", so it's not too hard to center the panel in the frame. I sometimes miss by a tiny bit, so I just nudge the panel over and let the adhesive dry (after cleaning up the mess).
